Hotel Residencias Varadouro in Faial Island, is
located in the "Varadouro Place" county of Capelo, about
20 km from Horta City.
This area is a local favorite getaway, as sits on
the coastal area least bathed by fog, were the dry air and the
summer gentle breeze, are an invitation to stay.
50 meters from the Hotel (a few meters if you
stay at the beach house), you can find two natural swimming pools,
one for adults and one for children, where you and your family can
enjoy ocean swimming. You can also swim and dive outside the

building, you can enjoy regional dishes as well as other seasonal
foods and specialties. The Residencias Varadouro has bicycles

are interested in fishing.
The Varadouro area is very close to the extinct
volcano of Capelinos and its museum, a mini-golf course, horseback
riding, several vista points, a shooting range, and a
fishing village from where you can embark on sailing day trips
around the island. In addition you can hike in the nearby state
park, or visit the extinct crater of the last active volcano in
the Azores.
